Due to the CUSTOM nature of the work, the price will vary depending on the flavors, complexity of design and size which determines the cost of ingredients, supplies and labor involved.
The starting price is $2.25 per serving which includes basic decorations, buttercream icing, and your choice of basic cake flavors. Fondant covered cakes start at $3.00 per serving.
KITCHEN CAKES/BACK-UP CAKES -For those planning a large wedding on a budget, there is the option of ordering "backup cakes" to supplement the tiered cake. These are 2-layer 11X15 cakes with iced with a border that provides an additional 60 servings for $70. These are preferable to sheet cakes as the slices will look the same as those from the main wedding cake, so no one will no the difference. This option is only available when also ordering a tiered cake for a minimum of $150.
*******Please note...as with many other decorators, I will not provide a wedding cake when kitchen cakes are purchased or provided by a different baker. Please realize that I have worked very hard building my reputation on great tasting cakes and I can't have your guests thinking that a cake from another baker is something I produced. This protects the reputation of both bakers. ***********

A free one hour consultation is included for all wedding cake orders. Consultations not cancelled with a 24hour notice will be subject to a $20 rescheduling fee. There is a NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERABLE $100.00 deposit required to reserve your date. This deposit goes towards the purchase of your cake. Payment in full must be received by Cakes by Nette two (2) weeks prior to the event date, NO EXCEPTIONS. Orders not paid for by this date will be cancelled without refund. Variations to the size and design of your cake will be considered up to three (3) weeks prior to the event. After that date, your order will be final. Changes that affect pricing must be approved by you and CakesbyNette.
DELIVERY IS FREE FIRST 10 MILES ONE WAY
A separate deposit on returnable items, (i.e., cake stands, fountains, supports, candle holders, fabric, bases, etc.) is required at the time of the final payment. This deposit is equal to the replacement value of all equipment used. All equipment must be returned to CakesbyNette no later than one week after the event date in good, clean condition. The equipment will be inspected upon return and if EVERYTHING is in proper working condition ALL of your equipment deposit will be returned. If items are missing or broken, the cost will be deducted from your deposit.

Please note: Many top bakeries might be able to accommodate your order on short notice, but it is recommended that you reserve your wedding date as early as possible. I accept a limited number of orders per weekend, and popular months may fill up quickly. It's not unusual to reserve your date 6 months in advance - especially if your wedding falls between April and October.
